The Alenda Lux: Symposium will be held on May 4th, 2017. The day-long symposium will celebrate student research and creative work in poster sessions, short film presentations, and performances in a variety of campus venues. Applications are due April 7th, 2017; the online application can be found above by clicking “apply.”
Please note: The organizers of this event recognize that May 4th is a class day and students will not be excused from classes to participate or to attend. However, the schedule that you will find on the website provides times that overlap class periods for setup and for providing ample times when students will be able to share their work without missing class. There are specific sessions on the schedule for arts, humanities, social sciences, science and math students, but again there is no requirement that all students be at their posters throughout those designated sessions. Food and beverages will be available at the various venues throughout the day.
We encourage everyone in the Davidson Community to attend and to share the accomplishments of our students.
